Appraisals

At your request, Milano Fine Jewelers can provide an insurance appraisal, on items you purchased through our stores or website that are valued to or greater than $1000.00 for no additional charge. To get an appraisal for the items you purchase please contact us at Sales@milanofinejewelers.com.

The insurance appraisal is intended to be filed with your insurance company so that in the event of loss or theft of the item, it will assist you with your claim. Milano Fine Jewelers Inc. is not to be held responsible for any losses incurred and does not grant any warranties with this certificate of appraisal other than its intention, to provide documentation of jewelry for insurance needs. Please consult your insurance company for specific details regarding this matter.

Sizing and Alterations

Since all of our products are unique, it might be required to be sized or altered to a different size to meet your individual needs. Our Jewelers have been designing and creating jewelry for over 20 years. Milano Fine Jewelers does all the sizing of rings at no additional cost. Prior to sizing any ring, you should verify that the size you request is the actual size.

Changing Stones

With our vast selection of Jewelry, you can choose to have a piece of jewelry set with your desired stone. Since every individual has unique needs, we are willing to meet them. If you choose a mounting with a different stone other than the one shown, we can do it. If you wish to purchase an engagement ring without the center stone, that is also possible.

Each ring presents different circumstance with regards to changing the stones. The cost in doing so will depend on the size and type of stone, type of metal being requested. For a specific price, please contact us and talk to one of our experience jewelers at info@milanofinejewelers.com.

If a piece of jewelry is returned after having stones changed, there will be a 20% restocking fee plus shipping charges.

Layaway

Sometimes purchasing jewelry can be expensive. For this reason we have a Layaway program that will assist you in purchasing your desired piece of jewelry. We require a deposit of 25% or more in order to place an item on hold. Thereafter you are required to make monthly payments until the remaining balance is paid in full. Any sizing or alteration of the piece is done once the full balance in paid in full.

If a layaway item is cancelled before 14 days have passed, then a standard fee of $25.00 will be charged and the remaining money will be refunded. After 15 days if the customer decides to cancel the layaway merchandise, the initial 25% deposit will be forfeit and any other payments made will be refunded. In addition, if we do not receive regular monthly payments and we have attempted to contact the customer, then the item on layaway may be sold and the money in question will be handled as stated above.
